I currently use a laptop and i've only ever connected 2 things to it another monitor via dvi-i and a tv via hdmi.

I am building a desktop PC and i will not have a default screen and was wondering if i could hook up the tv via hdmi and the monitor via dvi-i on the same graphics card and have them work as extended displays?

This will be my Vid Card:

Any insight/information into this would be helpful :)  ty!

Just a word of advice, on the TV see if there is a game mode in the menu. This will turn off the smoothing feature used for TV and movies which causes input lag when you have your computer hooked up to it.

Oh wow.. my tv does have that I believe.. I know there is a picture setting for it.. is that what you refer too? I think that only changes brightness and contrast and all that though right?

I'm sure it depends on the manufacturer, I have a visio TV and I believe the game mode was in the picture setting. I think it only tells you it changes brightness and contrast but behind the scenes it turns off smoothing. I would just play around with it and see if it does anything, your TV may not have a smoothing feature to give you issues.
