I build my first pc by myself few days ago.
I have same "problems".
First my spec is:

Asus maxsimus VII hero
Intel i7 4790k
Corsair h105
Corsair Vengeance pro silver 16gb 2400mhz CL11
Corsair Carbide 540air case
Corsair RM750

I dont have gpu right now, i use intel integrated gpu
All new drivers and bios

Now my problems is:
Every day i check my temps, (bios all defaut i manualy just set xmp profile) cuz Ram is 2400mhz. At start my temps are i can say nice, i run intel burn test STANDARD mode 10 times and my temps on IDLE is 27-30c and max 74-77.
i7 4790k stock speed and i see my core voltage when is load on 4.4 is 1.211v
Next day i run intel burn test again 10 times. Idle 29-31c Max 79-83c
Again next day temps are fine like first time i wrote.
Im not use spliter for h105 fans i conect one fan in CPU-FAN,another fan in CPU-OPT, and i connected PUMP in CHA-FAN3, i disable fan control in bios for cha-fan3 and in bios rpm is 1800-1850. But in AI suite3 rmp is 1600+ ? And out from box my pump have some buzzing sound,is not loud but i hear it.
I see some lose on motherboard when i set h105 and i put on motherboard washer from h105 and is tight im sure.
Is this temp good or not ? I have new artic silver 5 premium. Maybe reaplied thermal paste? Move out washers ? Help im noob.
For monitor i use hwmonitor cpuz and realtemp, for stres i just use intel burn test.

arctic silver 5 takes about 200 hrs to set. leave it for a few weeks and check again, corsair liquid coolers a finicky. when i had my h100i, i replaced the factory mounting screws with motherboard stand offs and screws to get more pressure on the cpu, that fixed it for me. i switched to a coolermaster nepton 280l because i really didnt like the corsair cooler. the mounting sucked and the software was garbage on the i- series

for intelburn, yes. it puts an unrealistic load on your cpu. try prime95 or occt for an hour and look at the average temps it is at. those to will spike a little, but not as much as intelburn. i only use intelburn for a quick oc check. if it passes intelburn i move on to occt or prime95 for an hour.

try that and post results. your idle temps are great

intelburn puts an unrealistic load on your cpu, thats why not many ppl use it. stick with prime95 but let it run for an hour, it will get a little warmer about 30-35 min in

Yeaa i run it today about 2 hours, max temp first 10 min is 64-66 an then prime95 go faster like u say and my temps hit 84c max some cores are on 81,82. I dont know is this good temps for this type of coolers. Do u know something about buzzing noise from the pump or is that normal? Thx

i never noticed a buzzing noise from the pump, sorry. that max temp seems a little high. Mine at 4.7 with the nepton hits 80
