GTX560 Ti 1GB
vs
Radeon HD 7850 1GB
Both were of similar rank in Tom's graphic cards Hierarchy char
I'm planning to build a budget gaming PC for my son and found these two on craigslist.
both seem in descent shape in pics.
Not much hope for a warranty but course I will ask 4 or do tests myself b4 buying.
Both were at about $60.

The 7850 is the faster card of the two. I wouldn't recommend buying used card but for 60$ that seems pretty low for those cards. You will want to know what the card has been through before buying. If it does break on you, it was only 60$ and if it doesn't, you got one hell of a bargain.

The 7850 is much better. Are you sure your not thinking of the 6850? (more similar performance and age to the 560 ti)

yup, both were the correct models.
and the guys were asking $70 for the 560 ti, and $75 7850, but I figured I could haggle it down to at least $60 ^^
Well, I guess It'll be the 7850 it is then.
I'll try to poke and look and test as much as I can b4 buying.
Thanx for the help guys ^^

Yeah the 560 ti is ok, but the 7850 is newer and better performance.
