We are travelling in our RV and using the RV park's internet service. Every time my laptop gets "IP address conflict". My husband also has a laptop and they sit back to back on the same small table. Sometimes I can reset the adapter and it works but other times I am not able to get hooked up at all. I cannot contact an ISP provider as I don't have the same one all the time. Is there a permanent solution to this issue that I can do (not a techy person) or should I take it to a repair center. one.

Is your laptop set up as a static IP or is it picking up an IP from DHCP?

Ensure that your laptop is set to "DHCP" in the settings for the wireless (I am assuming you are using wireless). DHCP is a handshake protocol that your laptop uses to initialize the network connection.

You might want to go into the wireless connections and delete all the remembered wireless networks. That will ensure that some remembered configuration isn't confusing your laptop.
