i requested an RMA from cooler master for a seidon 120xl. they did not have any left so they sent me an eisberg 120l. the eisberg 120l came DOA. now they want to upgrade me to a nepton 140xl, is this a good idea? (i feel like i keep getting luckier every time i RMA something)

More about : rma cooler master

Seems to be a better option. I would go for it, if this comes DOA, buy locally or switch manufacturers.

The nepton is probably a better unit if you still want to pursue water cooling.

I like that coolermaster is responding to your problems, but I would not like to have the problems in the first place.
... twice.

I might take the replacement unopened and sell it.
You can buy a noctua or Phanteks cooler which will do the job for less.
