So my friend has a:
MB: Asrock Z77 pro 3 ( Latest bios )
CPU: Intel 2500k ( it'sn ot OC-ed )
RAM: 4GB ( since he it's quite possible the earlier rams were done for )
GPU: TwinFrozr 560ti ( Latest drivers and does not overheat, unles 70-73 degrees is bad for older less efficient GPU )
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 600W
HDD: 2TB WD Blue
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 128GB

Now the issue is as mentioned in the title the fact that his computer has frequent lock-ups. The system just freezes and needs a restart. Sometimes it may take 3hours for it to freeze, sometimes it may take less.

We have tried running his computer without the GPU and just with the on-board one and it seems to work this way. But I'm still not convinced it's the GPU causing the freezes since it just might be the fact that that PSU isnt of the up most quality and it's almost 2 years old anyway. BUT, we tried running it with a different PSU and it still froze after some time. So that makes me wanna come back to the GPU. We tried running it without the HDD and just the SSD ( which even before the SSD he still had freezes ) and it still froze.

The motherboard is brand new since the other one broke ( the sata connectors were causing issues ). So it leaves us with the GPU. We sent it from where we bought it with the warranty and all and they said the test was OK. Although I highly doubt they stood in front of the PC waiting for it to randomly freeze. I'm not bashing them, just saying that if you stay on it for like 10minutes to a hour.
it might seem like everything is ok.

Would appreciate some feedback on this. As we have basically rebuilt his entire computer because of the freezes but they still persist and the only things that are NOT new in his computer are the Litepower 600W and the 560ti.
