Hello,
I've recently installed my Wi-Fi router, it's working completely fine. I can connect to it through a USB device my operator provided. But my problem is that i want to connect to it without that USB device, but i just can't find the password, i've tried everything i had on the papers and router, but i can't find it. Put in mind that i used the Wi-Fi router in another area/city.
Thanks in advance!

About the only thing you can do is do a factory reset, and you'll then be able to use the default user/password. These should be in the user manual, or you can google the make/model of the router and find the defaults that way.

contact the service provider and ask them to provide you with the password as they probably forgot to tell you it or just didnt provide you with it for their own reason .. my service provider didnt provide me with a password and when i did a check they informed me that it wasnt provided because of some policy of some sort

Find or Change Your Internet Security Passphrase

1) Open the web browser that you use: Firefox,Google Chrome,IE,or Opera and type in the IP address for your router, and press the Enter key.
http://www.routeripaddress.com/ < Router ip addresses can be found here

2) A window will open and then type in your routers default username and password, and press the Enter key again

http://www.routerpasswords.com/ < Router usernames and passwords found here

3) Navigate to the Wireless Security\Network Security Settings Tab and open it to locate or change your WEP or WPA Security Passphrase.
Use WPA because it provides better security.

4) Write this Security Passphrase down and put it in a safe place to access when needed.

5) Save settings and close your browser.

Personally it sounds like your 'provider' (aka operator) has a SECURED Wi-Fi that is ONLY accessible through the hardware device which is configured to 'unlock' the connection (the USB device). If this is their policy and it is not as a service you want, then you need to provide back the equipment and get your OWN router from the store. They are very straight forward on how to setup.

No their routers are not secured that way, it's just the matter of my log-in info that i don't know.
I tried everything from the password underneath the router, to everything else i found on the papers, plus i'm curious if it's the username too.

Well we certainly wont' know here, and it Violates Tom's Hardware Forum Policies to help you 'crack' the PW or such, so you can forget any advise anywhere near that direction. if you wont' contact the company (operator) you mentioned for support then I think this thread is closed at this point.

I don't work that way ('cracking'), plus i think i can figure it out all by myself now because i can finally contact my brother who installed the router and configured it (i didn't actually do anything), i think he knows the log-in info. Anyways, thank you all for your help!
