First of all a very good day to you !

1) I have 2 kingston hyperx ram sticks (1600Mhz). One is black and one is red. Eaxh of the hold 4GB memory.

So is using these 2 sticks in dual line memory cause any problems since they are different?

2) How further would I be able to overclock these? 1866 Mhz Maybe...

Thank you

Might be able to get them to play together and if so to OC them, if you have them give them a try. Could try using XMP or setting up manually

What you need to look for on the memory is the volts and timings if its the same on both sticks then it will be just plug and play. The problem with Kingston is they make a lot of different memory that requires different volts. 1.5 - 1.65.
They also will use the same memory and change the timings from say a stick of 1600MHz with 9 timings that runs on 1.65 volts to the same speed but with 10 timings so it will run on 1.5 volts as recommended by Intel processors.
For overclocking nobody can tell you what it will do try it if it will boot run memtest all night and remember 1 error means it failed.
