ive been playing this game archeage. ive been playing straight 8hrs. then suddenly my monitor says no signal but my cpu was still running. so i tried to restart it. same thing happened. monitor still says no signal. i tried removing my graphic card and putting it to the on board vga but still same problem. i also tried removing the ram putting it back cleaning ram processor and video card even put thermal paste on processor and video card. it worked for a couple of hours. but then it went back to no signal again. i have a true rated cougar 550w psu, 4gb team elite ram single stick, MOBO asus m5a78lm-lx am3+, and r6850 1gb 256bit graphic card, 500gb seagate sata hdd, fx-4100 processor

What's the CPU? Sound's like you either fried your mobo, cpu or psu

When you turn on your PC, do the fans on the GPU spin? Also was the 4100 overclocked?

I already tried changing the ram removing the graphic card and using the on board. Sometimes it works for about 5 mins. But then goes back to no signal. So may be the problem lies on my psu, mobo, or processor?

Yeah, there's a slim chance it's your CPU or mobo and there is a higher chance that it is your PSU. There isn't really any way you can diagnose these components other than replacing them...

Can a grounded wires cause this? Because ive been trying to mess with the wires. Putting them in and out. Then turn my pc on. It with work for about 10 seconds. Or before the start up. Then goes back to no signal again

If it says no input signal either the it's something wrong with the cables or your video card is dead but most likely your video card. (This happened to me before)

I dont think the problem here is my video card cause i tried removing my card and plugging it to the on board gpu. But still no signal. I saw my 4 pins going to my mobo got burnt. So i guess the problem lies in my psu. Try to change it tomorrow. Ill update you guys.

It may not be the PSU that has caused that. The motherboard you are using is quite low end and has a poor power management design and is notorius for burning up. If the VRM's on the mobo overheated and burned out, this is the issue.. you'll need a new mobo... The best way to check this is to look at the back of the mobo for brown marks like it has been burned (which it has)
