Hello I've gotten most of my parts, i've read that I got to update my BIOS, how would I do so without the CPU plugged in? Or is it okay to have the CPU in while upgrading your bios? Could you be able to do this outside of the case or do you have to have the case inside alone with the video card to see what your doing on the screen?

99% of boards can only upgrade the BIOS with the CPU installed.

No, copy the Bios file onto a FAT32 USB key (from a different computer). Go into BIOs, there should be an option for Q-FLASH (hotkey F6 sometimes). Q-Flash will read the USB key and update BIOS to the latest.

Is the FAT32 a specific USB drive? Do I put it into the MOBO (if its a specific usb drive) or into the usb slots

FAT32 is a file system for a disk. USB Drives are just mobile disks. If you've never changed the file system, it's probably already FAT32.

You should be able to use any USB port that's native to the Intel Chipset on your motherboard, the safest would be to use one of the USB2 ports, that's guaranteed.
