Will a i7-3820 @ 3.60 GHz run a 780Ti?

Looking to upgrade my card from a 660Ti
Not sure if these two will work together or not as I don't know a whole lot.

Anything with a PCIe x16 slot and enough power. 780Ti is a decent video card choice, have you looked at the GTX970 or GTX980?

i7-3820 is a high end chip from its generation.

Easily. Im running 2 770s in SLI with my 3820 and the cpu is in no way a bottleneck.

It is better to get 980 right now.

EDIT: even better: 2x 970 in sli, assuming your board supports sli and your PSU is strong enough.

Thanks, yes my board supports SLI, I might get something from the 900 series
