A question about Sli

If a game is not supported for sli, would it make your second gpu have a little bit of a heating issue if sli is enabled?

Ok. I am trying to figure out why my second gpu is catching a heating issue. It doesn't happen that often but i notice it spike up to 95 degrees celsius the other day while i was just idle in a game. When i started to move around and actually play it jumped back down to 78.
