Ok, my daughter and I are building a new computer (a mother daughter project :)  - She bought the

Master Cooler Storm Stryker case - http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Stryker-Computer-Carryin...

Biostar ta970 version 5.3 motherboard -http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/introduction.ph...

Corsair CX750M power supply - http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Series-Modular-Bronze-ATX...

AMD FX processor black edition

Samsung 1T SSD

GForce GTX 750ti Graphics card (GDDR5)

Sound Blaster zx sound card

Corsair vengence 16GB ram

Ballistix RAM 16 GB

I am trying to get it all hooked up for her. This is our first build. I am a software type person but figured we could do this. Well the case has a hookup that comes from the front panel that is pretty thick cord and says usb3 on it - I cannot find a 19 pin connection to put it to. Although the motherboard shows it should have a hook up? I have all but 4 cords unhooked - one being the big one I just spoke of and the others appear to be coming from maybe a fan - small 3 pin hookups. I did find a 4 pin hookup on the back side of the panel and a cord that would hook to it but have no idea where to put it on the mother board. Please help

Your USB 3.0 connections are in the back. They are blue. Your mobo does not have the USB connection support for the front of the case :(

You would need something like the below product. It has the USB 3.0 front plug. I dont know if this is the best price. it was the first one i found.

The other connections (not usb 3.0) should be the power button, reset SW, HDD HUD and so on.

Do they have black plastic pieces on them? Do they say anything?

Also, best bet, read through the manual where the hookups are. It will give details on what goes where.

I plugged in the 3 little connectors on said HDD led (I think), the other power switch, and the last one I cant remember (Im not at my daughters house right now). There were other slots like for audio which I did not find a hook up for that but watched several videos and basically i think they are for the front mic and headset ports?

SO is it ok to just leave the front usb unplugged and use the back?

Why no power when I plug it in? I have everthing that seems to need connecting connected. I followed the mother board manual and the case manuals for wiring. The case has 5 fans I think and I only find, I think, 2 fan slots on the motherboard for a fan. The 2 fans on the side and one on top seem to be connected all together leading into one port. but the port is male ended. The large back fan is directly connected to the motherboard. The graphics card is in the correct slot - it is plugged into the power supply but still no power? I would think I would have some components but not with the ones that are directly connected? What about the connection I found that is directly behind the front panel board? I wouldn't have even seen it if I hadn't taken the top off to follow the wires. I didn't see in the manual were it says it needs a connection but there is sure enough a larger white male ended connection there with 4 larger pins in it. I did find a cord that would fit it, but it basically looks like an adapter. One cord splits into two female ends? I don't know my mind is flustered lol. Does any of this make any sense?

a c 337 V Motherboard

That is a fairly expensive full tower case. A mid-tower size could also be used.

The motherboard is a cheap model. One of the things missing on cheap low end models is an INTERNAL USB 3.0 connector. Your board does have back panel USB 3.0 outputs. USB 3.0 outputs are to be expected on an expensive case you bought. Too bad there is nothing to connect to on the motherboard.

If you download and read the motherboard manual on page 4 is the layout. In the upper left of the layout is a 4-pin connector. You can split the 4+4 connector from the power supply for that. A good quality motherboard would use an 8-pin connection but you have a cheap motherboard. That connects the power to the CPU. The 24-pin connector must also be plugged in.

I hope you used the brass standoffs to lift the motherboard up in the case.

These items:
Corsair vengence 16GB ram
Ballistix RAM 16 GB

I would not use both. Use one or the other.
