Hi,

I have a Gigabyte Z97 Gaming GT. I would like to use Intel iGPU but when I start my computer it won't load the BIOS. It just sits there with a blinking cursor and my keyboard gets locked. When I use a discrete video card my desktop doesn't have any issues booting up. I cleared the CMOS and tried the secondary BIOS but no luck. The Intel GPU is enabled in the BIOS. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Thanks.

David

When you connect with the iGPU what cable / port are you using ? Is it VGA?

GPU is the discrete card... switch the BIOS setting to Auto.

Download the Gigabyte Z97 Gaming GT PDF Manual

PCIe Slot Configuration
Allows you to set the operation mode of the PCI Express slots to Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3. Actual operation mode is subject to the hardware specification of each slot. Auto lets the BIOS automatically configure this setting. (Default: Auto)
