Ok so earlier I down-clocked my processor back down to stock. After I did that and rebooted, a screen popped up that said "disk drive error press ctrl+alt+del to restart" so I did. Nothing happened just went back to the error. Noted that the motherboard boots up but no windows. So i thought that I probably had a SATA cable loose, so i checked and they were all fine. Also note that My hard drives post in the bios along with the disk drive. Well then all of a sudden it starts to boot into some 2.2 infinity thing I have never seen before. Starts asking me for a boot disk, so i thought cool I will just reinstall windows, I dont care if i lose anything all my pics and vids are backed on my one drive. Well when I attempt to run the boot disk It goes into the install screen and asks me to select a hard drive I wish to install windows on. It wont let me install on any of them because of the way they are formatted. It said that it needs to be in GPI form or something. So I backed out and tried to repair windows 8 that was already installed on one of my drives, but it said it was locked and could not be accessed to be repaired. Then I had to leave for work, so i will pick up where I left off when I get home in the morning. So any and all suggestions will be welcomes with open arms. I will monitoring this all night so I should be snappy with responses!

Have you tried resetting the BIOS?

Looks like that infinity thing is something in the BIOS. Change the bootdisk to the hdd. And reconfigure the settings. Since you removed the battery

Would you kindly give me some instructions on how to do this?
