Hi guys,

I have a HP XW8200 workstation with 2x 3.4ghz xeons, 16 BG Ram, Nvidia Geforce 520GT.
I took the recommendation of somebody on the forums and purchased a Palit Geforce 560ti GTX card to upgrade to.
I installed the card and got 6 beep codes from the system (which I believe is GPU code). I put the old card back in but now when I boot up I can see the initial screen and load the BIOS and setup etc but after that I just get a blank screen with the flashing text line in top left corner.

Does anyone have any idea of what I can do here? All help is appreciated!

Many thanks,

Paul

Can you possibly get the model number of the motherboard? It should be printed on the board somewhere. Knowing the type of BIOS (Phoenix, AMI, etc.) would also be helpful. If there is a specific model number for the workstation as in XW8200-(XXXXX??) that would also be good. Or the service tag.
