Hey there everyone!
I was planning on building this PC this winter for Christmas.
With experience, I'd prefer to have an AMD build. Can someone find a Mobo and CPU that's with an AMD CPU?

Thank you!

Why would you rather go AMD? Anyways, it should be easy enough to find a mobo/cpu that is for AMD.

What's your reasoning for going with AMD out of curiosity? Their chipsets are so outdated I almost never recommend them unless the budget is tight.

Swapping to AMD is as simple as changing the motherboard and CPU and adding an aftermarket cooler to cope with all the excess heat from the FX chips

The small saving is not worth it in my opinion as the performance and upgrade-ability take a fairly big hit

The rough equivalent of that i5-4670k is the FX-8320. At least in benchmarks. And it is somewhat cheaper. Probably would go with the 8350 though.

I would agree with the others, if you're going for a high-end or mid-high machine, Intel pretty much dominates the top tier of CPUs. The best from AMD right now competes with Intel's stuff from two or three years ago. Look at this list and see for yourself.

Having said that, you can still build an AMD system that you will be perfectly happy with - just know that you will be a step back from the very top tier.

Yea AMD is pretty bad bro! Just look what they did to the XBox One and PS4.
