I am trying to share a wireless connection from my laptop using an Ethernet cable to DESKTOP. it worked fine for a couple of days then my COX ROUTER/MODEM reset itself to default settings. Now the shared connection just gives me an 'invalid ip address configuration. I've tried resetting the ipconfig, netsh, and flushing the dns. I checked the host.ics file to make sure the 127 local host was listed.i also renamed the connection to match default connection name. All to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions it would be appreciated. THANKS!
