Is this PSU good enough to power two GTX 970s?

I had the same question a few days ago (aout a NZXT hale 82 650w in my case), and the answer I received was:

Yes, it is enough, but it's barely enough. Not recommended, and you might have issues taking into account that the cards sometimes draw far more power than their TDP.
Still, it will probably work OK, but 650W is the minimum possible.

(TDP is their Thermal Design Power, not electric power. The difference here would be that the thermal power is more like an average, whereas the electrical power could change up and down rapidly, as long as the average is still within the TDP)

according to this no...you need atleast 700 watts.

It could run it, but on load your system will shut off and you will run into problems, 700 is actually the real minimum you need, but having it under stressful load can harm the PSU, so I recommend you upgrade to atleast 800.
