Need a raid card but not sure what one to get.
I know what I want it to do
I want to do a raid 0 with at least 4 drives
I know what I want it to have
SATA lll
I don't care about brand
But I do care about price $45 or under
I just want to get my paws wet with a cheaper card so I can educate myself
The thought of buying a $600.00 + card right now makes my armpits sweat
I want to leave the sweating for later when I'm more educated
Thanks in advance any suggestions would help out a lot

There are no hardware RAID cards under $200 worth buying. If you just want to get your paws wet, just use the chipset firmware RAID feature.

For anything but a "play" system don't bother. Get a top quality SSD for boot and OS and a single large drive for data. For home systems there is no practical reason to run RAID 0 anymore.
