Hello,
I was wondering about a USB webcam I bought I would like to know if I plug the mic in the audio port will it work?

Unknown if the TV box would even have the necessary drivers to recognize the USB sound card.

A headphone jack and an SPDIF port have the same problem - THEY'RE FOR OUTPUT ONLY.

Yeah, I saw that but still no good specs/reviews/any good info about the USB dongle.

Since you seem so intent on buying these things anyway just go for it. They're cheap enough that you won't break the bank and if it does work, fine.

I still think they won't do what you want them to do.
