but i am stuck on processor side
for which one to go fo amd or intel

please any help is appreciated
and thanks in advance

Solution
I would either use a G3258, FX-4300/6300, or X4-760K (or similar).

There are pros and cons to all of these. For example, a game that isn't well threaded (most) like Skyrim or StarCraft 2 will do best on the G3258 dual-core CPU. However, a game like Battlefield 4 in multiplayer is likely to do best on the FX-6300 since it can actually use most of that CPU's capabilities.

It would also matter what parts and at what prices you have access to.

After you decide on that, you want the best graphics card your budget allows. I'd suggest an AMD card as your relatively weaker CPU will benefit from any games that use Mantle (such as Sniper Elite III).

This budget, if it includes Windows as well, is very difficult to work with. I'll make an...
Difficult to say without knowing total budget, but in general use INTEL.

For example, a G3258 dual-core CPU can make a lot of sense for lower budgets (for most games) because that frees up more money for a better graphics card.

Not sure why it has to be the i5-3450 specifically and not a newer one like the i5-4440.

As for Graphics there are some sweet deals with AMD depending on budget. Saw an MSI card for $156 (after rebates) at NCIX (can use pcpartpicker). It was an R9-280 which qualified for three free games as well.

intel i5 is quite costly so as amd fx series is cheap and has good reviews
and the budget for whole build is around $500 and around 35000 rs in Indian currency excluding monitor
what would u recommend?

i agree the technicality but the processor under maximum budget i can go for is either fx 6300 or i5 3450
and i guess that the processor G3258 dual-core CPU is not available in Inida
-as of graphics card i used amd and nvidia card both in previous years and nvidia comes to be the best due to its lower
temperatures and picked the asus gtx 750ti 2gb oc by myself .

You can use that as an example but you'll likely need to modify it depending on prices. I wasn't sure if build included Windows but it is in the $550 budget. You'd likely not get better than an R9-270X unless you find a good deal (and mine is after rebates as well).

Update:
ignore part of my build, but if you can get the i5-3450 for a reasonable price then definitely get it. Any 1150 socket motherboard with decent customer feedback to estimate quality of board.

SO it's looking like maybe THIS:

i5-3450
1150 socket motherboard
8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 memory
450W to 550W power supply
DVD burner
Windows 8.1 64-bit (and Start8 recommended)
case

I'm a little confused as you call the i5 "costly" but then say it's in your budget (a fairly low budget for gaming). However, if you can get both the i5-3450 and the GTX750Ti in your budget then I'd recommend that versus any AMD CPU paired with a better card.
