How to overclock ?

I HAVE INTEL CORE 2 DUO E7200 2.53 GHZ PROCESSER I WANT TO OVERCLOCK . PLS HELP ME. I HAVE 250W PSU , 2GB RAM AND GEFORE GT-610 ZOTAC 2GB EDITION .

In order to overclock, you need a CPU that can be modified for overclocking, and you need a motherboard that is capable of making and storing the modifications that you make to the voltages and frequencies.

The e7200 is a down-rated version of the e7600; a cheaper version released to use e7600 chips that failed some part of their quality control testing, perhaps speed or cache.

Essentially, Intel tested the chip, tried to overclock it, and it didn't work well, so this chip is not good to overclock.
