I recently built my first PC. As of now I am only running it off one 120gb SSD. I partitioned it to hold Windows and the rest 60gb for my usage. I realised after a few days that the C drive (windows) was getting full. I tried changing the registries in the Current Windows key to D:/ and after reboot: *title*

I have a Windows disc, which I will use to repair windows when I get home (later today) but I was just wondering if it will wipe any of my personal data (totally not porn). Jokes aside, does anyone have any tips for me to keep all my files and make windows bootable again, thanks a lot,

Filip :)

what register tweak you did ? Why you did that change?

you could have increased C drive space by adding addition space.

I changed the registry to make the D;/ the main Program Files and PF X86 folder. I couldn't actually extend the volume of the C drive as it is the boot partition, the other half of the ssd I could extend/shrink/etc but the C I couldn't extend in any way
