Hi,

I am looking for a good PSU and case for the following build.

The specs are (everything below were already purchased)
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K
RAM: ADATA 2x4 GB DDR3
MOBO: Asus H97M-E
HDD: Toshiba 1TB
ODD: LG DVD Writer
GPU: Asus Stric GTX 970 4GB OC

Total price: Rs. 62607

The PSU and case that I have in mind are Seasonic M12II 750 Bronze (Rs. 7645 without shipping) and Cooler Master N200 (Rs. 3185 without shipping). I may overclock both CPU and GPU.

My questions are:
Will the PSU be sufficient?
Will that PSU last me many builds or should I go with Seasonic SS-650KM3 X series (Rs. 9000 with shipping) with a 7 year warranty?

Will the case be adequate for cooling or should I go with Cooler Master 690 III case (Rs. 7799 with shipping) with more cooling and which I can also use for maybe a future ATX build?

Incase I choose the X series and 690 III case the total price will be Rs. 79406 compared to Rs. 73909 for the N200 and M12II one.
Is it worth the price increase? If it is not I'd like to keep the total cost under Rs. 75,000.

Edit:
One more question - Is there any other better PSU and Case combo so that the total will be below Rs. 75,000 without compromising much?

Thank you.

M12II 750W is good quality, and can even contain two 970s in SLI (your MoBo doesn't support that though). Actually, 750W for single GPU (even if OCed to extreme limits), is a bit overkill, SeaSonic 620W is much more value/money. No need for X series. And yes quality PSUs are made to last many years.

For case, 690 III is a good case for the price. Also, Corsair 300R is cheaper while being good quality and well built. Both are much better than N200.

Hi,

Asus has overclocking facility on their H97 boards, see http://www.techpowerup.com/202196/asus-enables-overclocking-on-h97-h87-b85-and-h81-series-motherboards.html. It may not be that much as available in Z97 motherboards but since I am new to overclocking I don't plan to do extreme fine tuned overclocks.

I have increased my budget to Rs. 80000 and planned to go with CM 690 III Green and Seasonic S12G 650 (Total Rs. 78207). I might add CM Hyper 212x in the future based on cash back offers.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
