Good internal card reader

Hello,
i want to choose a card reader for my next build but i'm not sure what are all those slots for and the cards that go connected into them:

  • Compact Flash
    MMC
    xD
I want a simple card reader and i'm quite sure i won't need all that stuff.
I would prefer if it's LED is red so it goes with the case design.

What are those slots for?
and
Which one would you recommend me?

Different slots are for different cards... Exactly which ones are generally listed on the product page, so you can see if the reader supports whatever cards you are interested in (e.g. phone, camera, etc.). Often the card itself will have an indicator as to what it is (SD, CompactFlash, etc.)
