I am looking into how one might make a "mobile" desktop, and was wondering if you could potentially use RC vehicle batteries. Like 1, 2 or 10 of these...

If it's possible, what would you need to make it work? would you still need a psu?

Thanks in advance.

You'd get about an hour out of one of those at idle., if you had a fairly low power build.

A bunch of relays, various buck/boost converters, and something to give you a low-voltage cut-off. That would let you replace the PSU, but you'd still need a screen.

Hi
The easiest way to make a mobile desktop would be to get a UPS with a high battery capacity.
Replacing the PSU with batteries would not be easy due to the amount of different voltages it outputs and so would need various high current voltage regulator circuits.
