I am using a Corsair h110 cooler with my 4790k and I want to make sure if these temps are okay.
It can also go up to 50 degrees and this is with 20 tabs open and 2 videos playing.

From bios/uefi the CPU temp should be 35C max idle and 55C max gaming.

What temps? How are you reading them - bios/uefi? or other software eg Core Temp.

'Good' temps really depend on the ambient temperature in your room as well ventilation for the PC.

50 degrees is fine, but opening many tabs in your browser isn't really a practical way to stress test the CPU.

You can try using Prime95 to push your CPU to full load, and then check its running temperature.

Try this Intel XTU OC utility for 4790K.

I see no problems. That's about what I get on an average day with my NH-D14 which is basically equivalent to your cooler.
