Hi everyone, I just bought an FX 6300 with Gigabyte 970A-DS3P and I'm about to install the Heatsink. The stock Heatsink with FX 6300 comes Pre-Applied with Thermal Paste but I also have a Cooler Master IC V1 .

So which one should I use ? My Cooler Master IC V1 or the Stock Thermal Paste ? Quick Answers please :)

IC V1 is an entry level thermal compound, no better than the stock paste, why to take the load of removing the stock and applying af when there's no benefit? Stick with stock.

Thanks, I'll stick with Stock :)

The stock heatsink for that processor sucks by the way.

If you ever decide to overclock, you should get a better aftermarket cooler. They usually come with their own thermal compound pre-applied.
