is the Kingston hx318c10fr/8 8GB DDR3 1866MGZ HyperX 1866 CL10 240-Pin udimm XMP compatible?

Just assembled a new desktop with an z97-A asus motherboard with 2 memory sticks of the above said type. When I checked BIOS, the XMP option was disabled without an enable button. Tried updating the BIOS to the most recent but still the enable option wasnt available. Open to suggestions to find out what's preventing XMP option to be enabled. Thanks!

Hi Paolo,
I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support and would like to offer our assistance. Our HyperX Fury memory, like part number hx318c10fr/8, are plug and play modules so they do not have XMP Profiles. The PnP feature means the memory will run at the fastest speed they motherboard and CPU support that is stable. The memory does not have any XMP profiles so that option will be disabled in the BIOS. The memory is compatible with the Asus Z97-A motherboard. For any further assistance, please contact our support in your area: http://www.kingston.com/company/contacts

Thanks for choosing HyperX
