Hey guys,

the title says it all, I have an XFX 5770 and I've read that the normal full load temp for that card is 70 degree Celsius and while real temp and ccc both say it reaches 65 under full load, after burner monitor goes upto 75, and in dota gpu temp says 61-63 while after burner says 75, so what am I looking at here. and if its the after burner, how do I fix this, I have the latest version and my drivers are up to date.

Some software works better with some equipment than others. There is nothing you can do about the different readings. Never take the readings as exact when using software to monitor thermals. I allow 3-5*c either way for tolerance. Speed fan on my machine reads CPU temps 6-8*c higher than Open hardware monitor, OHM reads 2-3*c lower than real temp. It gives you a near figure but its never 100% accurate.

I know you're trying to help, but thats like saying if you don't know whether you're going to survive the fall or not, why don't you jump and find out :p, sorry dude as someone who hasn't done a lot of overclocking, I really don't like the idea of pushing my card without knowing where its at.
