My motherboard is Intel DH61WW.
Has 2 ram slots. Max 8 gb.
I already have Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB PC RAM.
I want to buy G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB PC RAM.
Will these run alongside or do i need to buy another of the transcend one. This is a very silly doubt but still I want it clarified.

No, it'll most likely not run. Different brand sticks should never be paired, no matter how similar their specs are. A good pairing with non-pair is with an identical model of what you currently have, meaning same brand, speed, CL, timings, voltage, series, etc. So in short, do not mix those two.

Yes, it'll work. But the final memory of your system will have the summed up size, slowest speed and slower timings used by the motherboard.

I'm sorry, my motherboard is actually DH61H0, 16gb max, 2 slots. 1 filled with the above mentioned one.
If i want to add 8gb of ram, which model should I buy?

You should not add different size sticks, you may add another 4GB stick, exactly identical to the current one, or replace the current and get a pair of 8GB sticks, but you must not pair 8GB with 4GB, no matter how identical the timings are.

Well, for the info, my HP C2D build came with a Corsair and a Geil stick, and has been running fine since 7 years, then why is it that I don't recommend mixing sticks?
Well, the pre builts have been tested to run the different sticks, and can you assure his build will run those fine? If yes, I'd like a proof of the exact same built as his with the exact same sticks in scenario running fine, can you get such proof? Certainly no, every build is different, one may run a stick from Corsair and another from another brand with everything different perfectly fine, but some other even with identical non-pairs may have issues, so in general, its not a good idea to mix sticks.
