Hi, I've just built my first computer and it's fine except on my temperature-checking software the GPU temp shows as 0. I've tried 2 programs, CPUID and GPU Temp. CPUID checks temperatures for all hardware and the only one which doesn't show is the video card temp, so I assume it's some sort of driver problem although I have installed MSI Afterburner, MSI Gaming App and AMD Catalyst which were from the disc that came with the card and they all seem to be running ok, . Any suggestions as to what has happened?

Honestly I've only ever used MSI Afterburner and AMD Catalyst to check my temps. I've never used anything else CPUID and GPUtemp I haven't used for checking the temps. GPUtemp appears to be rarely updated so it's possible they only have very few supported cards. Their screenshot shows an HD4800. As for CPUID, it covers a very large area, but overall it's possible that they haven't updated their supported GPU monitors either. Just checked, CPUID doesn't detect my video card temps, neither does HWmonitor, or GPUtemp. More than likely there's no issue.
