Your CPU is not so bad and the motherboard has PCI-E x16 Gen 2.0 slot , i think you d better get a new video card . What video card do you have now ?

This would be much better :
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor (£99.98 @ Novatech)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£65.87 @ Aria PC)
Total: £165.85
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Or with full budget spend, Intel would be best option:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£158.00 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£64.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £222.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
