what cpu do you have?


AMD FX-6300


http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97r20 (hope link works) that is a decent quality am3+ board, and is revision 2 so will have a more recent bios (support your chip out of the box)

Take a look at my answer above.
They are not good for overclocking,because the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 has a 4+2 power phase desing,whereas the Gigabyte has a 4+1 power phase desing.
If you can get the Gigabyte Ga-970A-UD3P,it would be great,because it overclocks really great(8+2 power phase desing).
