I recently bought the Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX RGB (Brown) and it's simply too loud for me, specially since I like to bottom out. Will installing O-rings on it make a difference? I am currently Using a Logitech G110 a I love it, it's so quiet and smooth, but I do think the mechanical keyboard is faster. Another thing that discouraged me about the Corsair was that the typing felt awkward. This is because I am so used to my G110 and none mechanical switches, but I guess you get used to it don't you? I also love the G110 layout, but again it's because I am so attached to it since I've used for so long. Maybe I should return the Corsair and wait on Logitech's RBG keyboard coming out soon, but I've heard Khale or whatever switches aren't as good as Cherry?

Will buying O-rings silence my keyboard or should I just return the Corsair?

Yeah, O-Rings will dampen the sound of the keyboard, but Brown switches aren't supposed to be loud. You may just be too used to rubber dome or maybe there is something wrong, but either way O-Rings can quiet it down.

Be sure to have a key-puller (I think the K70 comes with one).
