Your CPU will give you max for game performance....the SLI will give you more horsepower for the games.....

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor upgrade to this your gpu is fine :)

Well a new cpu may get you an extra 1-5fps maybe. But another 770 will give you another 40fps depending on the game so i would say thats a no brainer.

No cpu is worth upgrading for you for gaming. Your CPU is top tier.

Get SLI 770, or sell your 770 and get a 970.

sorry but this is terrible advice and would cause him to waste money. There would be hardly any difference in gaming performance between the 4690k and his 4440.

the i5 4440 is plenty powerful enough why would he get a cpu when it would give little to no performance gain or he could get another 770 and get a massive performance gain. I wouldn't even have to think abt that i would get another gpu any day.

The 770's are now discontinued and the only reason to change the CPU would be if the overhead of SLi is too much for his current CPU, which it probably isn't.

But there would be no benefit. The 4440 is already a brilliant gaming CPU, most games will be performance limited by his GPU.

Yeah the 770 has been replaced by the 970. Things move along very quickly in GPU tech .
