Hey, i built my gaming pc about 4 months ago, i have searched help everywhere, and have kind of given up. The problem i have is that when i turn the pc on and the windows loading menu appears, the pc just turns off, i cant use safe mode because the same thing happens then. I cant use windows recovery disk either. And installing windows doesn't work either. I have a feeling it could be the motherboard or the cpu that is defective, i have checked and everything is seated correctly too. Just ask if there is more you need to know

PC specs:
Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
CPU: i7 3820
RAM: Kingston Hyper X Beast 16 GB 1866 Mhz
Power Supply: Corsair RM 1000
Graphics Card: Msi Geforce GTX 780 2 GB Gaming
Storage: Corsair Force 128 GB SSD
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

sounds like a weak power supply. the video card is going for vga mode to normal video mode and power and cant and the pc shuts down. if your rig has onboard video pull the gpu with the power off see if you can boot into windows.

Sorry, but didn't understand the first part of your answer, but i can say that the motherboard doesn't have onboard video. I have also tried with another power supply, but i cant think that 1000watt should be too little

No, the pc is not shtting down while in the bios, the temp on motherboard is around 30 degrees celsius, and the cpu temp is about 28 degrees celsius.

Have tried it, with another set too, the same problem though. Cannot boot from cd or usb, it will just shut down when it starts to load..
