Hey guys,

So here's my dilemma. I pretty much got this idea stuck in my head that I wanted to create a Web Server on VMware workstation. I don't have a static IP but I was going to use DDNS. I'm not doing it for anything specific, just to play around. I bought a domain and pointed it to the web server. I'm using www.no-ip.com for the DDNS. The application opens up on the Web Server and it gives me the IP address. I pointed the domain to that IP address from noip's website. I went in and made sure DNS was set up properly. I made sure all of my DNS settings were pointed to that IP address. It still won't work for some reason and I'm out of ideas. Can anyone help me out?

I presume the VM web server has a static IP address; is your router configured to forward ports 80 and 443 to that VM? Could you draw your network, including the router's configuration? For security reasons you should use fake IP addresses.
