Posted several threads about this card. Tried all kinds of things, in the end only way to get it to work was to plug in a dvi-to-dsub adapter.
Why? Can't it handle higher resolutions? Gigabyte HD7970

Hello... 1) is this a BRAND NEW CARD? or used, Did it ever work for you or someone else?
2 ) Did you verify your monitor and cable work with another DVI video card?
3) Is your Card properly powered from your Power Supply +12Vdc with a PCIe 6 or 8 pin connectors?

1)No. It's about 2 years old. Yes it did work OK, some weeks ago it started glitching and monitor showed no signal, after several restarts it was OK. It did work in another PC but with a dvi-vga adapter.
2)Yes, it works fine with integrated intel graphics.

Hello... 3) Is your Card properly powered from your Power Supply +12Vdc with a PCIe 6 or 8 pin connectors?
4) are you using any PCIe POWER Molex Adaptors or going with a stock/PS connectors?
5) How many DVI and HDMI connectors does the card have?
6) Have you tried any of the other Video Card connectors... Not all the connectors will be active unless Multi-Monitor setting are enabled in Windows/AMD APP for it.

Yes. I actually changed my PSU, because I thought it was the problem. I'm now using Seasonic X750.
I'm using cables that came with the PSU.

1x dvi (which works only with dsub adapter) 1x hdmi (doesn't work) 2x display port (I don't have a cable)

Hello... 7) Set the Bio's for PCIe only, save and re-boot... same result?
8) Get a HDMI/DVI adaptor and boot from the HDMI video card connector... same result?
9) Does your card have a DUal-Bios switch? Verify the position of it for stock setting.
10) Un-install any AMD/ATI Video Software from Windows... and re-boot using BIO's PCIe only and the DVI and/or the HDMI connector on the Video card... same results?
11) Were you Using/playing with Multi-monitor settings before this happen? Set back to default settings.
12) Were you Using/playing with Over Clocking settings or Software before this happen? remove Software and set back to default settings.
13) RE-flash your Video card BIO's with the Stock firmware version. USE GPU-Z to get further Video card information for this.
14) Return the Video card for Warranty/Repair.
