Strange computer freeze

Hey all, I’m stumped by this one. I've recently been suffering from pretty bad system freezes when watching videos in my browser. I've had this occur with Twitch, Youtube, and Netflix. It takes quite a while for it to happen (> 2 hours usually), but once it happens the first time, I need to let my computer sit for several hours before I can run video for > 5 minutes. The freeze will also occur faster if I’m running video on my second monitor while I’m playing games. Usually I’ll be playing World of Tanks, MechWarrior Online, or League of Legends. I've tried both Firefox and Chrome, and the freeze occurs with both.

The freeze is rather odd, in that usually the game (if I’m running one) will freeze first, followed by the browser, followed by Windows Explorer, and finally the sound locks up. Once this freeze starts, there isn't really anything I can do except force a reboot.

Initially, I thought it might be an overheating issue, but my CPU doesn't get above ~25C. I've also gone through and updated all drivers, and ensured that my BiOS is up to date. At this point, I’m at a loss.

System Specs:

FX-8350 (Stock clock)
ATI HD 7870
8GB RAM (Crucial Ballistix Sport)
ASRock 990FX Extreme 3
Crucial M4 SSD
Corsair H55 Cooler
Corsair TX750

Let me know if there’s anything else important that I didn't mention.

I forgot to mention, but I've also done the two windows Hotfixes for correcting parking issues with FX processors (can't recall the numbers offhand), and tried a number of utilities to help windows better manage core parking. I've even tried disabling parking all together, to no effect.

WRT how much the CPU is being used, it never seems to be getting pushed all that much. Usually 4 cores are spun pretty low, 2 are seeing decent usage, 2 are around 50%.
