ASUS vs Palit GTX 970 Should I get GPUs with blowers or with fans? Case pictured.

This is my case:

What would you do? Would you get GTX 970 SLI with blowers or with fans?

Palit GTX 970 vs ASUS GTX 970

Pricing aside, I need to know if these cards can perform with 100% usage without dropping clocks or overheating.

Stock fan on CPU (will get some paste and install a Scythe Katana III on it)

Fan configuration of the case:
Front intake 120mm
Back exhaust 120mm
Side intake 120mm
HDD bay intake 120mm
Power supply exhausts hot air through the back

No O.C. (don't plan to do any)

Which cards would you get for SLI? The ones with fans or the ones with blowers?
I know blowers are noisier, but I believe two cards running under stress in SLI (rendering or gaming in triple-screen config) might make quite a lot of heat.

What would you choose in this situation with this case? Blower or fan cooling?

Solution
Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I went with Gainward 970 SLI first (blower style) and returned them due to immense noise when runnin at > 70%. Now running Zotac 970 SLI (dual fans), also being problematic in full load load situations. Alone the card reaches 72-73 C full load at 70% fan speed.,In SLI, the high temperature at the back of the cards makes the top card will pull hot air in from back of the bottom card. This makes it possible to reach 87 degrees C on full load on the top card. (which is too much, of course). This is with a well ventilated case and a 140mm side-fan blowing directly onto the cards. CPU is watercooled custom loop an never exceeds 50 C.

Now awaiting MSI gaming versions of the 970, and hoping for better luck this...

can you tell me what your motherboard is? Those seem to be RADEON cards in CFX, so be sure to uninstall all the AMD drivers first, but please tell me what your motherboard is so I can tell you if you can SLI.

Newbbuilder11, I'm sorry for the confusion. I only posted the picture in order for people to get an idea of what my case is like (it's the exact same case), I have a different hardware config:
FX-8350
Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 - the mobo IS compatible with Quad SLI. I have the bridge and all, but I need to know what would be better for this configuration (with the fans I mentioned) : blower vs fan (Palit vs ASUS Strix) - I will put stress on CPU and GPU at the same time for long periods of time (rendering & gaming)

Can you show me the cards you want?

Hey Morten, you don't know how much I appreciate this kind of answers featuring your opinion, knowledge and, the most valuable thing, your experience with the question at hand. So the Palit card I was interested in is basically just like the Gainward you bought. I was inclining over blower-equipped GTX 970s because I wouldn't want the cards to exhaust all the heat inside my case. I know the blowers those cards are equipped with are made of cheap plastic with a relatively medium size heatsink underneath. I did look for data on forums, I searched through YouTube videos to get myself an idea of how noisy the cards were. The thing is, if they reach close to 90ºC when in full load (I plan on gaming in 3 screen Surround and use the Adobe suite for editing videos (AE, Premier, some Photoshop as well). I happen to have 1x120 mm front intake fan, another 120mm side intake fan blowing on the spot where the cards would be locked in place and another 120mm fan exhausting through the back together with the 120mm fan on the PSU doing the same thing. I really want to get some GPUs with blowers so I might wait or forget about the 970s completely.

I will probably get the MSI 970 4G Gaming cards by Thursday/Friday (out of stock here in Norway, as well). Will update you when I have more data. Disappointing that it is that hard to get it to run properly, even with the low rated wattage on these. Time will tell, fingers crossed! ;)

I got my new MSI cards today and installed them in SLI. I can tell you that so far they are keepers. The temp is 67C lower card 76C top card. This is on auto fan mode (hardly ever audible over the case fans and water pump), clocked to +175 core (in addition to 90 Mhz factory overclock) and +500 mem. Boost is now at 1501 Mhz. Very happy
