I will not be playing any fps
Only assassin's creed n others such games
Will the comming assassin's creed utilise more than 4 core
Or if the intel will serve me for next 6-8 years I will go with Intel and also suggest me a good motherboard with a sli support n oc support

There's no such thing as an "8 core game." Highly threaded games already exist, some spawn DOZENS of threads. They still run better on i5's than they do on FX-83XX's.

Remember, we can run as many threads as we want on a core, this is going on all the time on your computer anyway (there are probably hundreds of threads already running on your computer right now), but we can never run a thread on more than one core at a time. This one way relationship between threads and cores means that the i5 will pretty much always provide higher usable execution throughput to real-time workloads than an FX-83XX. The real-time nature of gaming workloads makes it near impossible to get high saturation across more than a few cores, since the workload is...

Assuming you mean i5-4670K, the i5 is the better solution to dealing with real-time workloads no matter how many cores the game can leverage. A real-time workload that can scale into 8 threads will still run better on the i5 than on the FX-8350. This is because performance can not scale proportionally with core count in these types of workloads. Best case scenario the FX-8350 will be as good as the i5 but never better in some cases. The i5 will always be as good or better.

Most quality motherboards start at $100-$135, with a new cpu adding at least $200 to that, so you will be forced to choose a slightly older, used MB/CPU combo, IMO...

An older i5 socket 1155/1156, coupled with a decent GPU....

However, it might be a fanatasy to think you can get a rig now for that budget you mentioned and game with it for 6-8 years, unless you intend to play Medal of Honor or Q3 or Q4 the whole time.
