Yes it will run in that motherboard but what power supply do you have? Because i doubt a stock HP power supply is going to be enough or have the proper connectors for the 260x.

Yes, assuming your power supply is sufficient to power your total system and the new R7 260X.

What make/model is your power supply?

You have to find out if the case is ATX or micro atx if its very small then its probably micro atx and there are very few if any aftermarket psu's that will fit.

My bad its not p1640d its p6140d sorry

Okay good thats an ATX case so any ATX power supply will fit (and thats almost all of them). You will definitely need a new power supply 500 watts should do it with a pci express connector. And there may be some bottlenecking from that processor.

It basically means the the cpu is a bit under powered for the 260x so it isent going to perform as well as it could with like an i5 or a more powerful cpu.

Screw the processor i would still get the 260x. I just figured i would let you know because you probably wont get the same performance as other people with the 260x.

The gtx 750 and 260x are almost identical when it comes to performance so yes it will.
