Help my Minecraft Is locked at 60 fps and i don't have Vsync On!

So I started to play minecraft again and when i got on my game would not go above 60 fps and before it was at like 400 to 500 with my i7 Intel processor. Its really smooth but when something goings wrong it shoots down to 30 fps and it kinda sucks because how can a Gaming PC that runs BF3 at ultra setting and above 60 fps not be able to run a game Minecraft made in like 2009. Can someone please help me. BTW Vsync is not turned on it says off in the options menu

Firstly minecraft can be a surprisingly graphic intensive game. Secondly try looking in the configuration program for your graphics card to see if the Vsync override is turned on.

Thank you i figured it out on my own and now im gettting like 600 fps xD but thanks anyways
