Hey guys please help me................Iam confused whether to buy a notebook or assemble a desktop.......
I would be using the system mainly for:
1.Programming and multibooting.........
2.virtual machine(vmware)........
3.Gaming( for playing games like call of duty ghost,battlefield 4 and crysis 3 e.t.c).....
please reply soon....

Desktop. You will get way, way, way more power for way less money. There's just nothing comparable; a $1100 desktop will blow nearly any laptop out of the water, save for a few $2400+ laptops that are just desktop replacement and lose most of the advantages of being a laptop..
