Hello everyone,
I just built a new pc but when I boot I get no video signal. The CPU and the case fan start spinning so there is power going to them. I have tried the steps mentioned in this topic: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-s...
However, it's still not working.
Here are the specs of the pc:
PSU: FSP Group ATX-250PA
CPU: Intel i3-4150 3,5 Ghz (with onboard graphics)
Motherboard: Asrock H87M Pro4
RAM: Ballistix 8 GB Kit (4GB DDR3L -1600 CL8) VLP UDIMM Tactical
SSD: Cricial MX100
Optical drive: Samsung SH118BB/BEBE

I have also tried to boot with the SSD and the optical drive disconnected, and tried booting using an old video card I had laying around (AMD HD5450), but both without succes.

I hope you can help me.
Greetings.

Just to clarify - are you running the system without a dedicated Graphics Card installed?

I ask only because your PSU (250w unit) is very low powered, so may not be sufficient for a system with a dedicated GPU.

Yes I am running the system without a dedicated GPU installed, I only used it once to try if using it would help, but it didn't.

It needs P2.00 of the BIOS to support that CPU

1150 Core i3 i3-4150 (C0) Haswell-R 3.5GHz 3MB 54W P2.00

So if this isnt on it now, it wont do anything

Is this the software version of the bios? And if so, how can I get this on it?

Only way you can get it on it, is take it into a shop and ask them to flash it with a lower spec CPU then flash it

Or you'll have to buy a lower spec cpu then flash it then put yours back in. If the right BIOS isnt on it
