its been so many months ago since my computer starting to freeze in a random time.
it will make a static-y sound and then freeze.
I had to reset it and sometimes plug and plug all my hard drive
( because i dont know which one of them has a problem. i have 3) if i unplug and plug them sometimes it works but sometimes it doesnt work.
and then this time my computer doesnt open anymore.
i had to figure out which one of them has a problem by unplugging each of one them and turning on my pc. and now i know which one has a problem.
my first harddrive that i bought. its been so long now,but not very long.now my computer doesnt freeze anymore. but all my important files and office files are gone its very important MY QUESTION IS, can i still fix it or can it be fixed? what do u think is the problem? and can u guys help me, how to fix it, ? if i can still fix it. PLS HELP! thanks!

You could install the hard drive in an external USB case and hope that it works, but if it isn't detected, you shouldn't mess with it if those files really are important. A backup is far less expensive than what you may have to pay to get them back from a data recovery service.

You don't have to connect an external drive before booting the system. Get an external HD enclosure, install the defective hard disk in it, boot your system and then connect the external drive to a USB port (or an eSATA port if your system has one).

so if i put my defective HD to the external hd enclosure it will not freeze ?? and it will read my files again ? right ?

It won't freeze as long as you don't connect it until the system is booted, but there's no way to know if it will read your files until you try it. On the other hand you'll end up with an external enclosure that you'll be able to use with a new HD to backup your important files in the future.
