GTX 970 dedicated VRAM?

Solution
A lot of those programs don't properly recognize the 900-series yet. My 980 is often recognized as having 3GB VRAM too. Don't worry about it, you have 4GB. Eventually those programs and GPU drivers will get updated and properly recognize your graphics card and its VRAM.

I just ran into this problem as well. I'm glad this post wad the first thing I saw! I will not worry about only 3.1 showing up.

Thanks for posting, and thank you for the answer too!
