Can't load to BIOS on Asus X99 Deluxe

Hello, I am having a rather bizarre problem. I can't get into the BIOS setup of my Asus X99 Deluxe by pressing delete or F2 during boot. I got it to work a few times when I turned the machine on for the first time, but now it just never seems to work. I've tried holding down both or either button during the whole but sequence just when the "Press F2 or Delete" message comes up, and many things in between.

Anybody else experience this issue or have any idea what's going on? Thanks!

I have found that switching the keyboard to a different input solves the problem temporarily... very strange.

Doesn't the CMOS reset button now do the same thing as removing the battery for a while?

Would still like some clarification on just what's causing this if anyone has any idea, it's very frustrating.

I am having exactly the same problem. This is driving me nuts. Im not having any luck with switching the keyboard over either.
